Today marks the start of the Training-Workshop for the Local Climate Change Action Plan of the Municipality of Guimba!

The training workshop aims to develop strategies and actions that will mitigate the impact of climate change on the community. The workshop began with a team briefing of Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella, Head of ICCEM. The training proper began with a speech from the Project Leader, Edmark Bulaong, who emphasized the importance of taking action against climate change. Dr Shirly Serrano then presented an overview of the workshop, which included identifying the causes and effects of climate change, and in preparation for Module A.

The municipality of Guimba recognizes the urgency of addressing climate change, and through this training workshop, they hope to raise awareness and empower the community to take action towards a sustainable and resilient future.
