The tree planting activity was spearheaded by Mr. Daryl Juganas, faculty member and the head of the University Sustainable Greening Program (USGP). The participants planted native tree species, selected for their adaptability and ecological benefits, to ensure the long-term success and health of the reforested area.
In addition to the tree planting, a significant milestone was achieved through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Kapuncan Inc. headed by Mr. Roy P. Manuzon and CLSU. This agreement formalizes the partnership between the two entities, highlighting their collective commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
