Aligned with the directive of University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella to maintain a clean and green campus, inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action, the initiative aimed at fostering environmental awareness.
Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo, as the focal person for solid waste management, spearheaded the segregation of gathered waste from offices, units, colleges, parks, and dormitories, collaborating with committed faculty members and ICCEM staff.
The ICCEM conservation park was utilized to establish a temporary material recovery facility.
