LOOK | Seminar on Disaster Preparedness for CLTL-ASTS students

The Laboratory for Teaching and Learning – Agricultural Science and Technology School (CLTL-ASTS) Student Body Organization hosted an orientation for incoming students titled “SIKAD 2024: Sinag ng Kalinangan, Agapay, at Dalubhasaan” on August 13, 2024, at the ASTS compound.

 

As part of this initiative, Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo from the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCCEM) was invited as a resource person to share his expertise on disaster preparedness. Prof. Pelayo delivered an engaging presentation titled “From Risk to Resilience: Navigating Disasters.” His insightful talk covered comprehensive strategies for disaster prevention, mitigation, and response, equipping students with practical tools to handle emergencies effectively.
