With the aim of increasing safety among students, Dr. Verjun J. Dilla, Head of the CLSU Laboratory for Teaching and Learning (CLTL-USHS), requested Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo from the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management to speak on the topic of Disaster Risk Reduction, with a focus on earthquake preparedness and response to provide student with comprehensive insights into various aspects of safety and preparedness held on August 7, 2024, at the UMALI Gym.
Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo, Extension and Environmental Education Sub-Unit Head of ICCEM, presented strategies for disaster prevention, mitigation, and response. His talk also covered essential safety measures and preparedness, including what to do during and after an earthquake.
