The Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCEM) conducted culminating activity on July 28, 2023 Friday to recognize the student trainees from Tarlac State University (TSU) who successfully completed their internship program.
The event begins with a moment of reflection and gratitude, acknowledging the importance of the work done at the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCEM).
The OJT Coordinator and faculty of ICCEM, Mr. Roberto D. Pelayo welcomes all attendees and expresses appreciation for their participation and contributions to the internship program. He emphasizes the significance of the internship in preparing the interns for their future careers.
Dr. Shirly C. Serrano delivers an inspirational message, highlighting the importance of sustainable development and the role of the interns in contributing to environmental conservation. Her speech encourages the interns to continue their pursuit of knowledge and passion for making a positive impact.
The Tarlac State University interns who were currently taking Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science showcased the results of their projects and initiatives during the internship period. They share their experiences, challenges faced, and lessons learned while working on projects related to climate change and environmental management.
The ICCEM Head, Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella concludes the event with closing remarks, expressing her pride in the interns’ accomplishments and their dedication to the cause of sustainability. She also stated the 3’Rs; “Responsible, Responsive, and Reengineer”.
