Two faculty members from ICCEM served as resource speakers during the said event. Dr. Shirly C. Serrano discussed the different Biodiversity Assessment Techniques. Sharing her extensive experiences in the biodiversity assessment in various ecosystems draws more enthusiasm from the participants, especially those who intend to work on natural resources management. On the other hand, Mr. Daryl A. Juganas shared insightful ideas on ecosystems valuation. He discussed the ecosystems goods and services and putting more value to the ecosystem for effective planning and management activities.
With the knowledge gained, students and faculties were encouraged to conduct research that will support environmental conservation and protection.
