Dr. Gella Patria Abella, representing the Institute of Climate Change and Environmental Management, is currently participating as a panel discussant for the Matatag Plenary Panel Session at the UGNAY PALAY: 35th National Rice R&D Conference. The focus of this session is on Resiliency and Stability in Climate Change
Adaptation. The overarching theme of the conference revolves around ‘Sustaining High-Quality Rice Science in the Midst of Change’.
Alongside esteemed experts such as Dr. John C. de Leon from DA-PhilRice, Joanna Kane-Potaka of the International Rice Research Institute, Dr. Ria Liza C. Canlas of the National Innovation Council, Dr. Eufemio T. Rasco Jr. of NAST, and Dr. V. Bruce J. Tolentino of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
