CLSU students successfully completes their internship program at ICCEM

Six students from Central Luzon State University (CLSU) completed their internship program at the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCEM) from July 01 to August 04, 2023.

Student interns namely, Ms. Wendelle N. Salvador and Ms. Chiara Grace M. Mamaril, taking Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Ms. Glaiza S. Billato and Ms. Donnie Grace B. Corpuz taking Bachelor of Science in Statistics completed the 200 hours of on-the-job training, while Mr. Paulo B. Manabat and Mr. Mark Joseph D. Lagasca taking Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science completed the 240 hours of internship under the direct supervision of Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo, OJT Coordinator of ICCEM. They were given a Certificate of Completion during their culminating activity last August 07, 2023.

All student trainees participated in fieldwork activities at Lingap Kalikasan, Central Luzon State University to gain practical experience, and they had the opportunity to learn about and get involved in the Institute’s various projects. Additionally, student interns assisted in the different activities conducted by the Institute to hone their communication skills, organizing, and creativity abilities.

As a multidisciplinary research institution, ICCEM can cater students from several fields with extensive learning and firsthand experiences that will be useful in the workplace.
