CELEBRATING AN IMMERSIVE JOURNEY

The Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCEM) hosted the program, On the Job Trainees Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony held last May 17, 2024. This is to celebrate the conclusion of the immersive experiences of the seven students from Central Luzon State University, taking up a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology,  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Development Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Literature.

 

Present in the program are the ICCEM faculty members and staff, IT faculty members, and guardians of the student trainees. The attendees to the program were welcomed by the opening remarks delivered by Sir Robert Pelayo, ICCEM OJT Coordinator.  

 

Afterward, the trainees shared their learning experiences and accomplishments throughout their training. This part highlighted the outside-the-classroom learning that the students gained during their stay at ICCEM which greatly immersed them in a workplace environment where they were challenged to transform theoretical skills into practical skills, making them armed with knowledge and skills crucial for their chosen careers.

 

The students were then motivated and encouraged by the inspirational message delivered by Dr. Shirly Serrano. The program then ended with the closing remarks given by Dr. Gella Patria L. Abella, Head of ICCEM, which further inspired and lit the optimism of the student trainees.

Being a multi-disciplinary research unit, the ICCEM is an avenue for students from different fields to acquire job-essential skills and personal development they need in the workplace.
