LOOK | ICCEM faculty goes International

Prof. Roberto D. Pelayo participated in an International Training Programme on Sustainability and SDG’s which aimed to tackle challenges by training professionals in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines regarding techniques to measure and improve the sustainability of processes and products. The training focused on sustainable development, clean technology, circularity, sustainability assessment methodologies, life cycle sustainability assessment (LCSA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies, within areas such as aquaculture, agriculture, food production, packaging, etc.

 

The training was held at the Institute of Food and Biotechnology in Can Tho University, Can Tho, Vietnam from July 29 – August 03, 2024.

 

The Research Group Sustainable Systems Engineering from Ghent University in collaboration with Can Tho University faculty researchers were the organizers of the said training program.
